I recently attended the unveiling of the new spring menu at Fresh Salt in The Saybrook Point Inn & Spa. I was curious to see what new delights might be forthcoming from what was already one of my favorite shoreline restaurants. I knew it wouldn’t be just the usual suspects.
I and other members of the food press were allowed to eavesdrop as executive chef Leslie Tripp introduced the new dishes to the restaurant staff and owner Stephen Tagliatela. After a detailed presentation, staff, ownership and press got to sample each of the exciting new items. Everything was delicious. One could hardly fail to be impressed by the beauty, creativity and ingredient quality displayed by every dish.
